Hours of Operation

Long Valley Christian Nursery School is open from September through May. A complete school calendar of special events, trips and holidays is given to all enrolled children (extra copies are available in the office).

School Hours: Our normal school hours are as follows:

AM Session: 8:40 am - 11:10 am

AM Session with a 12:40 pm Dismissal: 8:40 am – 12:40 pm

AM Session with a 1:00 pm Dismissal: (5 -day Pre-K and Transitional Kindergarten) 8:55 am -1:00 pm

Extended Day: 12:40 pm - 2:40 pm M -TH

PM Session: 12:15 pm - 2:40 pm

Enrichment Extended Day

Enrichment is offered to children Monday through Thursday until 2:40pm. After their class dismissal at 12:40pm/1:00 pm, children will have an afternoon of classes including karate, dance, fitness, mindfulness, friends, play, creativity, story, games, outside or Big Room playtime and snack in a relaxing, comfortable environment. The children are safely supervised by enrichment coordinators and our Extended Day Teachers. Children must be 3 1/2 years old and toilet trained to attend. If your child is attending extended day and they are under 4 years of age, please send your child with a small rug or blanket so that they might comfortably rest if they feel the need.

Enrichment sign up is via a Signup Genius for a 5/6 week session or there may be drop in spots available. Call or Procare message the office to make reservations for drop ins. For a full session sign up there will be no refunds for missed days unless it is due to school scheduling conflicts or class field trips.

Extended Day will not be offered on Christmas Program Days or End-of-Year Program Days and some select special program days. Please refer to the session newsletter for schedule and for more information.
