Mrs. Cindy Tortorello

Mrs. Cindy Tortorello is the lead teacher for Transitional Kindergarten. This is her sixth year at LVCNS; however, this is Mrs. Tortorello’s 17th year as a classroom teacher. She taught 1st grade for 10 years and 5th grade for just one. Her heart is really with the little ones. Mrs. Tortorello has two boys, one at the middle school and one at Old Farmer’s Road School, both LVCNS alumni. Mrs. Tortorello graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Penn State University. She also has her master’s degree in reading education from Goucher College.  Mrs. Tortorello loves to read but most of time you will find her bundled up at the ice rink watching her boys play hockey. “I love working with kids. They are so joyful and pure of heart. They put a smile on my face every single day.”
